Three Steps to Become a Successful Publisher

I started building personal website since 1995, but all of those hosted on free web space, and looked like "PERSONAL WEBSITE" indeed. Because I don't know any Content Management System(CMS), or there were none free such as Joomla or Wordpress in those good old days? I didn't know how to writing code for myself, either.

With the free web hosting, those personal website have long gone, no more. I have to start up again and again, repeat construction again and again.

Since I tried Adsense, I started to think seriously. But I still remain as a amateur, always seem a newbie. I have tried forums, hope many registered users can generate easy money for me, so I can put my feet up and watch my earning growing.

But nothing happens, nobody register, except my few friends and relatives, even few post articles or a reply.

I spent a whole year to understand how effectively and easily build a website by installing a CMS such as Joomla, Wordpress, but I spent longer time to understand it's not a big FRAME, but the content, I have to keep writing and writing. even without a website can do the job. Most of my earning come from hubpage, a revenue sharing website, you can publish your article and earn ongoing royalty.

If you're just getting started, here is the advise from Arlene Lee - AdSense
Publisher Support:

If you're just getting started with your first website and the AdSense program, we recommend taking the time to build up your site with plenty of original, quality content -- write about topics you're passionate about, or which you have
expertise in. When designing your website, keep our Webmaster Guidelines and, most importantly, your users in mind. Then, take advantage of our Webmaster Tools to help increase your site's visibility in the Google search index, and try out the tips our Search Quality Evaluators have provided. Once you've built up organic traffic
to your site, use Website Optimizer to understand how users interact with your pages and make improvements to your layout. And of course, during all of this, experiment with AdSense optimization tips to learn which colors, formats, and placements monetize best on your site.Finally, as we blogged about during this Newbie Fridays series, your earnings potential can go up as advertisers find that you're
sending high-quality leads to their sites. This won't happen overnight, but with patience and hard work you can watch your efforts convert into a high-quality site and higher AdSense earnings. And you won't even need a hundred sites to do it :)

Here, what Arlene Lee has pointed out is three steps you should take to a successful publisher:

1. build a quality website;
2. try some search engine optimization;
3. experiment with Adsense optimization;

But I have tried a lot colors, formats and placements of Adsense before I had a quality website!

I make $20 for filling a 20 minute survey!

Guess what? This is exactly what large companies are paying me for. They need to know what their average customer needs and wants. So large companies pay $1,000,000's of dollars per month to the average person. In return, the average person, myself included, answers some questions and gives them their opinion.

Virgin Media Netgear Wireless Router Username and Password

As Virgin Media customer, if you find your wireless router is Netgear, then you may type the router's setup URL into a web browser address bar. http://192.168.0.1 is the default Netgear router IP address. http://192.168.1.1 will work for some Netgear models. Mine setup URL is http://192.168.1.1 . Then you are required to enter a username and password. If you haven't change the default setting, it is "virgin" and "password", you may find that on a label stuck on the router. This default username and password of Virgin Wireless router is different from that of the normal Netgear router. The default username of Netgear is admin and the password is either password or 1234. Then you open the configure interface, change the settings, such as change your DNS server to OpenDNS . For a normal Netgear router, if you forget the username and password, you can reset and restore the NETGEAR device to factory default settings. But I couldn't find any button on
